  • Bred by crossing the species form of texensis with the hybrid Bees Jubilee, Princess of Wales is a delicate performer ideally suited to the smaller garden
  • Ideal for growing in patio containers up rustic wicker obelisks

    What you need to know:
  • Plant Type: Fully Hardy Deciduous Climber that drops its leaves in winter
  • Flowers: Deep pink all through the Summer
  • Approx Height after 4 years: 2.5m (8ft)
  • Position: Any aspect, other than a north facing border or wall. Clematis should be planted where the root system is in shade especially from the midday sun
  • Soil Type: Will tolerate most soil types

    Caring for your plant:
  • Pruning: Gather up all the stems 30cm above the ground and cut off everything above in late Winter/early Spring
