The role involves producing a range of menu items from scratch using fresh, local and seasonal ingredients. We serve hot breakfasts and lunches to order plus hot snacks throughout the day.
As a Chef you will ensure that food quality and presentation is high, inputting into and delivering a seasonally changing menu, using locally sourced, fresh ingredients.
You’ll work closely with the Restaurant Manager and a small kitchen team to ensure the smooth running of the kitchen, working in a hands-on capacity, setting the pace and food quality standards.
The successful candidate will have chef experience, a passion for good food and service. Technical cooking skills are essential as is food safety awareness.
This is a zero hours role. Working approximately 15 hours at weekends. No antisocial/evening hours or split shifts.
The role is based at our store in Frilford, Oxfordshire and so you must live within a reasonable commuting distance.
