We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Head Chef to join our Restaurant team at our Millets Farm garden centre restaurant.
 
The role involves producing a range of menu items from scratch using fresh, local and seasonal ingredients. We serve hot breakfasts and lunches to order plus hot snacks throughout the day.
 
As a Head Chef you will have full responsibility for ensuring that food quality and presentation is high, inputting into and delivering a seasonally changing menu, using locally sourced, fresh ingredients.
 
You’ll work closely with the Restaurant Manager and other chefs and Kitchen Assistants to ensure the smooth running of the kitchen, working in a hands-on capacity, setting the pace and food quality standards.
 
This is a full time and permanent position, working on average 39.5 hours per week on a 2 week rota. This involves working 4 weekdays plus every alternate weekend (you would work 4 days one week and have one weekday plus the weekend off, then you work 6 days the following week, including both weekend days).
 
There are no unsociable hours or split shifts.
 
The role is based at our store in Frilford and so you must live within a reasonable commuting distance.
