What you need to know:
  • 1 x Mr Fothergills Uk/fo/hc-mat Herb Collection Seeds
  • Harvest: January to December
  • Indoors Sowing Guide: Sow indoors, warm kitchen windowsill is all you need for starting these seeds. Simply fill a 9cm (3 1/2") pot with compost, leaving a 1.5cm (1/2") gap from the top of the pot for easy watering later on. Place the mat on the compost and firm down gently. Cover with a fine layer of compost, water well. Place in a warm position, a temperature of 15-20oC (60-68oF) is ideal. Keep moist. Plants can then be grown on a cool, light windowsill.
  • Soil Type: Well drained, fertile
  • Hints & Tips: If seedlings become too crowded weaker seedlings can be carefully removed and transplanted if desired. Leaves may be dried or frozen but for best results use fresh.
