Taking its name from Chaucer's 'Canterbury Tales', The Pilgrim Climbing Rose is one of the most beautiful climbers from David Austin Roses

It has very full, pure yellow flowers which are quite large and evenly shaped, with many small petals

Its fragrance is a perfect balance between a classic Tea scent and the English Rose, myrrh fragrance

It forms a short climber, producing flowers freely and repeating well

It's useful for growing on a trellis or a wall

The flowers are also most delicate and beautiful when arranged in a bowl

Based in Shropshire, David Austin has spent the last fifty years developing his English Roses. The company has won fourteen gold medals for rose displays created for the Chelsea Flower Show

English Roses are very hard to beat for both flower and fragrance and are so versatile in the garden
