What you need to know:
  • 1 x Thompson & Morgan Sunflower Solar Flash F1 Hybrid
  • Number of Seeds: 10
  • Eventual Plant Height: Up To 50cm (19.7in)
  • Eventual Plant Spread: Up To 35cm (13.8in)
  • Hardiness & Longevity: Hardy Annual
  • Ideal For: Patio, Cottage Gardens, Cut Flower Garden
  • Position In: Full Sun
  • Sowing Months: February-June
  • Flowering Months: July to September
  • Sowing Instructions: Sow thinly, 2mm deep in drills 45cm (18in) apart in well cultivated soil raked to a fine tilth or direct into small containers. Germination takes around 21 days. When large enough to handle, thin to 30-45cm (12-18in) apart. For early flowering, sow indoors, individually in 7.5cm (3in) pots at 20-25C. When well grown, gradually acclimatise to outdoor conditions before planting out after all risk of frost into borders or containers.
